Announcement
Guidelines
-
Event
must be within Cherokee County or sponsored by a Cherokee County
organization
-
Preference
given to events by, or for, a non-profit group, i.e., church, ministry, school, civic
/ community group, or local government
-
Submit
announcements via email, Word format (up to 75-100 words) two to three weeks before event to JohnBroomall@Yahoo.com
or mail to the address below.

Please
indicate when an announcement should start, and end. This is
particularly important for classes and groups that meet for a number
of week.

Churches
sponsoring events must agree to WPCG's non-denominational Belief Statement

Local
businesses may submit announcement if the event is free. i.e. grand
openings or book signings or local events by a business where
proceeds benefit a non-profit. For example, a chiropractor
could offer "chair massages" if all the proceed went to
the American Cancer Society.
